TRON-069 is a research atlas from SCADA StrangeLove for exploring the landscape of TR-069 and CWMP-related services. It presents component families, geographic distributions and operator-oriented slices through an interactive map, tables and a signature registry. Researchers can move from a broad country or component view toward the evidence and notes behind a classification, with CSV and JSON views available for country-level information.
The published atlas uses passive Shodan aggregates and describes its operation as making no requests to the devices themselves. Its snapshot date and methodology matter: the displayed counts represent query matches within a collection window, not a census of unique devices or proof that each service is currently reachable. Overlapping signatures can count the same host more than once, and the interface distinguishes confirmed attributions from classes, hypotheses and unresolved roles. TRON-069 is therefore a way to investigate patterns and inspect research evidence, not a live scanning service or a declaration that every matched system is vulnerable. It suits network and security researchers who want a documented starting point for studying remote-management infrastructure.
