slurmq is an open-source command-line tool for GPU quota management on Slurm clusters. Users can check consumed and remaining GPU-hours, switch between configured clusters and create usage reports in table, CSV or JSON form. It is intended for both cluster users who need to understand their allowance and administrators responsible for shared GPU resources.
Configuration uses TOML files with environment-variable overrides, and commands support structured output and exit codes for use in scripts or scheduled checks. The project also includes monitoring, wait-time and utilization statistics, reporting across periods and job-efficiency inspection. Optional enforcement can cancel jobs after a quota is exceeded, with settings for dry runs and grace periods; that is an administrative action rather than a harmless reporting toggle. Access to a suitable Slurm environment and correct cluster configuration are needed for the tool to provide useful results. slurmq is distributed under an MIT license. It fits teams that want visible quota accounting and scriptable operational checks instead of assembling separate ad hoc commands for every report.
