About Lobby Domains

Lobby Domains is a browser workspace for finding and comparing domain names. A user can describe a project, choose extensions and review generated ideas, or check an existing candidate directly. The interface supports a shortlist, saved searches and comparison or export. Its aim is to keep naming ideas and registry checks in one place rather than switching repeatedly between a brainstorming document and individual lookup pages.

Idea generation uses on-device Chrome AI and requires an eligible desktop Chrome environment. In a browser where that feature is unavailable, the interface says so and directs the user toward checking a domain instead. It should therefore not be described as a name generator that works in every browser or on every device. The extension controls allow up to eight choices per search, with common suffixes visible and a larger extension list available. Saved material is described as staying on the device.

Registry results are snapshots, not promises that a registrar will sell the domain at a particular price. The site explicitly separates an unregistered result from registration eligibility, successful registration and final price. It also warns that shared search links include the description, settings and available results, so a private business idea should not be placed in a link intended for broad sharing. Local AI generation and direct registry queries are different parts of the workflow: on-device generation does not mean a registry lookup requires no network request.
