wush connects computers for file transfers and remote access using WireGuard. The official command-line project describes copying files and opening a remote shell after a receiver starts a session and supplies a connection key. Its browser interface also presents send, receive and access modes, providing another entry point alongside the command-line tools.
The implementation uses Tailscale's tsnet library with an in-memory control server, and its documentation says a Tailscale account is not required. Connections can use direct UDP paths or Tailscale's public DERP relays depending on the network, so peer-to-peer does not mean a direct route is possible under every network configuration. The public repository provides installation instructions, source code and technical detail about the connection process. wush is a transfer and remote-access utility, not a cloud drive with a permanent shared folder. It is most useful when users can arrange a receiving session and exchange its connection information.
