CodeSwissKnife is a native macOS developer toolbox that brings formatting, conversion, encoding and inspection tasks into one application. The official site lists tools for JSON, XML, SQL, TOML, YAML, certificates, JWTs, regular expressions and structured-data comparisons. It also includes generators, network-address calculations and an HTTP client, making it a collection of small development utilities rather than a code editor or hosted development environment.
The app also presents an AI Developer Library for organizing local project instructions and prompts, plus an MCP Inspector for reviewing protocol transcripts and server capabilities. Optional Terminal and Raycast integrations expose selected utilities outside the main window. The vendor emphasizes local processing while distinguishing deliberate network actions, such as sending an HTTP request or connecting to an MCP endpoint. The current Mac download requires macOS 15 or later. It is offered as a one-time licence with a trial measured in days the app is used, so developers can assess the toolset before purchasing.
