Artab replaces the browser's new-tab page with artwork. Its homepage demonstrates the format using a large art image alongside its title, artist and collection information. The project is designed around a small daily interaction: opening a tab becomes a chance to see a work of art instead of another utility dashboard or an empty search page.
The official project repository links to extension listings for Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge. It also publishes the extension's source code and identifies the licence as AGPL-3.0, giving technically minded users a way to inspect how the project is built or work on their own changes under that licence. Artab is an art-discovery browser extension, not an image generator, design editor or online marketplace. It suits people who want visual variety during routine browsing and would rather discover existing artworks through a quiet background habit than schedule time in a separate art app.
