Spotify's beta context layer for AI coding agents: your services, ownership, docs and architecture fed into every session

About Xirp

Xirp is a Spotify project in beta that tackles the context problem of AI coding: it connects to your services, ownership data, docs and architectural decisions, so every AI coding session starts with real knowledge of your systems instead of guesswork. The site bills it as "powered by Spotify Portal".

It also works as a memory loop: the vendor says Xirp captures the knowledge generated in each coding session, turns it into documentation that stays current, and feeds it back into future sessions for both agents and engineers.

Xirp positions itself as model-agnostic - it works with Claude, Gemini and Codex, locally or remotely, so teams can switch models without losing context. Access is currently a beta with a Discord community and weekly Portal office-hours demos.

Perfect for

Engineering orgs already using AI coding agents that want those agents grounded in their own service catalog, docs and architecture decisions.

Solves these problems

AI coding sessions that guess at system context; stale internal docs; losing org knowledge when switching between Claude, Gemini and Codex.
