Tinykit is an open-source personal-app platform that runs on a self-hosted server. Users can build small apps by hand or with a coding agent, then adjust text and design settings through visual controls. The platform uses PocketBase for its server-side foundation and includes realtime JSON collections and image storage for the apps it hosts.
Each app exposes its code as a Svelte file, while a built-in editor and change snapshots support direct edits and rollback. Users can bring their own language-model provider and see prompt costs instead of treating AI usage as part of an unspecified allowance. Starter kits cover use cases such as landing pages, notes and small-business tools. The site separately marks several capabilities as roadmap items, and its hosted cloud offering is a waitlist rather than the same thing as the available self-hosted platform.
