Plotcode is a searchable library of infrastructure-as-code patterns. Its catalog organizes examples by cloud provider and programming language, helping developers find an existing starting point for a cloud integration instead of assembling every component from an empty project. The current interface includes AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI filters, alongside TypeScript, Python, C#, Java, Go and JavaScript. Those filters make the library useful when a team already knows its deployment environment and preferred language.
Pattern cards combine a short description with an architecture diagram. Examples visible in the catalog include connecting Adobe I/O Events to AWS Lambda through EventBridge, using Lambda as an Application Load Balancer target, and deploying an Amplify web application from CodeCommit. These are concrete service relationships rather than general explanations of what cloud computing is. Developers can compare the diagram with their intended workflow before opening the relevant example.
The site links its official GitHub library and a contribution route for submitting patterns. That makes Plotcode both a discovery interface and an entry point into a maintained collection of examples. A pattern should still be reviewed before deployment: account permissions, regional service availability, resource configuration and cloud charges depend on the selected example and the target environment. Plotcode is best treated as a way to find and understand implementation building blocks, not as a guarantee that copied infrastructure is ready for every production account.
