NodeTool is an open-source, agent-first creative workspace for making media with AI. Users wire nodes together to generate and edit images, video, audio and text, and built-in AI agents can plan and run those workflows from a natural-language request. The visual graph makes multi-step AI pipelines inspectable and repeatable instead of hidden in glue code.
Projects are open files that can be versioned and shared, and the app runs locally so creators keep control of their assets and choice of models. NodeTool is free to download for macOS, Windows and Linux, with an optional hosted cloud version for running workflows without local setup.
