activist.org is a global platform for activism, built as free and open-source software. It gives movements and organizations tools to grow their communities and coordinate political actions, with privacy and community governance stated as founding principles rather than features bolted on later.
The project is developed openly on GitHub by a worldwide volunteer community, and organizations can request access to run their organizing on the platform. Its roadmap is public, and contributors can get involved through code, design, localization and research tasks coordinated in the open.
